In Memoriam - Bruce Bottini (1946 - 2024)
Bruce Bottini passed away in the early morning hours of December 10, 2024, from an aggressive cancer. He was a busy and dynamic personal injury attorney and worked into his mid 70's until shortly before his death. Bruce always found a way to connect when meeting people for the first time. He knew no strangers and never forgot an acquaintance.
He was known for his generosity and is universally described as "one of a kind," compassionate, loving, and humorous. He was a rock for many. Raised and educated in Jesuit schools in San Jose, California, his faith was the anchor of his life. He drew inspiration from his grandmother, who taught him the value of hard work and respect for those who do the same, and his stepfather, who embraced and loved everyone in their blended family equally.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 48 years, Marianne; his brother, Jeff (Janet); sons, John (Tina) and Jeff (Claudia); and his grandchildren, Nicholas (Kendall), Bailey (Nathan), Allison, Madison, and Mollie. His immediate relatives include Carol, David (Diane), Girard (Rita), Chris, Brook, Lori (Alan), Lynn, and Jim. His current Jesuit mentor and good friend is Father Raymond Gatto who resides in the Sacred Heart Jesuit Retirement Center.
